Why? and what is it all about?

Mangawhai Artists Inc (MAI) is planning to add a workspace on to the back of our beloved Mangawhai Artists Gallery so we can run more workshops and community projects all year round.

The new workspace is to meet the demand of the expanding creativity and art in the Mangawhai community.

Our goal for PledgeMe is $100,000 and we have just five weeks to achieve it.

How does it work?

  • Our crowd-funding appeal launches Saturday 23 February for 5 weeks, closes 31 March 2019
  • You and others donate in return for rewards or charitable donation receipts
  • Pledge online (WEB LINK WILL BE HERE ON 23 FEBRUARY)
  • You can donate at any time to us at the Gallery
  • You can pledge your donation on PledgeMe at any time between 23 February and 11pm 31 March  - and you will actually make the donation on or about 1 April. PledgeMe will remind to make the donation.
  • Pledges are collected after 1 April only if we reach the target $100,000
  • Every Sunday in March during the crowd-funding project, you are welcome at Mangawhai Artists Gallery 4pm – 5pm for an update, connect with others, make a pledge, have some fun!

We are ready to go! We need your help!
Let’s do this together!
Please donate towards this community-owned
Mangawhai Art Workspace
Once we reach $100,000 we are ready to go!
Building can start in May 2019.

  • Our target is to raise $100,000 - this community-owned asset will be worth over $250,000
  • The five week campaign starts 23 February – this is the time to do it – all or nothing!
  • Please donate; ask your family, friends, businesses and community groups to help
  • Community donations are essential
  • If we do not raise the money we cannot build the art workspace
  • Through energy and passion, and our commitment to Mangawhai, we can do it!
