Lloyd Rayner

Lloyd celebrated his one-year anniversary of becoming a Mangawhai-ian with an art exhibition of his work in March 2019.
The exhibition titled ‘A life in colour’, was inspired by the beauty of our land and especially the coastline. The simplicity of nature and the wonderful and varied tones of colour is a constant source of inspiration.
Lloyd says “even though the world is in chaos, nature goes about its business day and night, and it never ceases to amaze of me its beauty. In particular, I love the ocean, so there’s a lot of blues and greens in my work”.
Lloyd comes from a business background, albeit a creative one; advertising and marketing.
Having gained degrees in Business and Marketing, he has worked in New Zealand and London. He has recently returned from living in Thailand, where he ran a water-sport business and also taught English. His focus is now on exploring his creative abilities and enjoying life in our Mangawhai paradise.
