​Hugo is a talented young artist who has been producing works of art from a very young age. He was the first in his kindergarten (aged 2) to draw a stick figure of himself with a torso. Apparently, this is a big developmental step! He comes from a family of talented artists who have encouraged and challenged his work. He was put into the Gifted and Talented Extension Programme at Primary School for art, and then the extension art programme at Intermediate School in 2018. He intended to study art when he began High School in 2019 with a view to a Fine Art / Design tertiary qualification one day.
 
Hugo has a busy, creative mind and likes to explore all art mediums. He is heavily influenced by Pop Culture and uses his design skills to craft costumes and props for Cosplay. When he’s not making art, you can find him playing guitar or skateboarding at his favourite venue – the Mangawhai Activity Zone (MAZ).
