Linda is an abstract painter from Aotearoa New Zealand. She has a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Painting) from AUT University, Auckland, (2018) and a Masters of Fine Art (Painting) from Whitecliffe College of Art and Design, Auckland (2022).
Linda's paintings give form to unseen energies that swirl around us. Drawing on techniques used by the Surrealists and Visionary artists, Linda's work is a lively mix of intuition and science she responds to push and pull energies sensed through her body. These intuitive feelings are supported by science relating to geology, sensory perception and consciousness.
The energies Linda paints about might come from the Earth, people or places. For the past 3 years Linda has been painting about Earth's magnetic field and the diamagnetic energy found in limestone.
