Printmaking and painting Toni is a printmaker and painter. She is currently concentrating on pastels and oil paintings. Toni grew up in Auckland, studying at Elam Art School graduating with a Master of Fine Art. It was at Elam she learnt etching techniques. Landscape is her favourite topic although she enjoys still life with fruit, glass and vessels – always Toni is exploring light and shadow. Toni’s etchings are full of story. Toni has lived in several parts of the Kaipara; 30 years in Topuni, then spells in Mangawhai, Maungatoroto, Port Albert and now Mangawhai again. |
