Donna sold her first works of art in 2000. She has sold to design stores across Auckland. Galleries include Art Matakana, Reyburn House, Estuary Arts, Muddy Waters Gallery and Mangawhai Artists Gallery. She has won prizes and exhibited in Matariki exhibitions at The Kauri Museum, Kaipara Art Awards and the Snells Beach Great Summer Art Exhibition. Donna paints using fine oils on both board and stretched canvas. Her bespoke jewellery features precious and semi precious stones, pearls, sterling silver and gold. Following a move to Dargaville last year a new purpose-designed studio and gallery has been completed. 
 
In her exhibition The Horse And Mankind, a joint exhibition with Leslie Cleary at Mangawhai Artists Gallery in January 2019, Donna shows “through the ages how the horse has been a servant and friend to man. I want to convey for the viewer the beauty, grace, power and mystery that surrounds this companion to mankind through the ages".
