I’m a multi-media artist living in Northland. I have a studio in Waipu where I run kids after school art classes and adult clay classes.
My sculptures are an exploration of my passion for texture, patterns and experimentations with light and often stem from my love of nature.
I love repetition. Although in each series of my work pieces are all similar and connected, each one is hand-made and unique if only by a small difference.
Whilst I mostly work with clay, I also like using a mixture of wood and metals in my work and am fascinated with the transformation of these materials by torching, firing and lighting as well as chemical reactions.
