Mangawhai Art Workspace

Early in 2019 Mangawhai Artists Inc fundraised to build an extension to the Mangawhai Artists Gallery, behind our existing gallery at 45 Moir St, to be known as Mangawhai Art Workspace.
We thank all those in our community who supported our fundraising efforts and supported the building process.

We gratefully acknowledge and thank Placemakers Mangawhai, our building partner.
Thanks to Pub Charity Ltd for your support.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of Chisholm Whitney Charitable Trust

Four happy volunteers had a busy day painting at the new Mangawhai Art Workspace - a small but dedicated team. The block work in the toilet and the majority of the exterior block work has its sealing coat on now and the verandah soffit is undercoated- looking good. Thank you Nicola Everett, Grace Cheng and Jan Grover for giving your time.

Update Thursday 31 October 2019:
Thanks to lots of work and management by Grant Mitchell and Kim Hamilton plus fantastic generosity and support by local tradespeople, the construction is moving at a cracking pace.
Yesterday KDC approved progress and the concrete slab floor will be poured this morning around 10.30am.
