Kay is a ceramic artist who has come from an advertising background but has always loved the world of pottery and potters, wonderful contrast to the high-end world of advertising. She has greatly valued the time spent with other ceramic enthusiasts at Auckland Studio of Potters in Onehunga, Auckland over the last 15 years. Now she has moved from Auckland to Mangawhai she enjoys having more time to spend potting in her home studio. All her ceramics are hand formed. She has enjoyed spending time making domestic pots, bowls, butter dishes and plates but is now focusing more on outdoor sculptural pieces for the wall and garden.
