Weaving
Penny is an artist who has always been a tactile, creative person who responds to the arts in many different ways. She has had 30 years or more teaching years behind her including both Playcentre Early Childhood and Primary School Teaching, gleaning ideas from artistic souls around her. She attended The Learning Connexion in Wellington where she gained a diploma in Arts and Creativity adding to her teaching skills and development of ideas in her personal artist pursuits. Penny first attended a flax weaving course 30 years ago adding a path of creative weaving using flax and other ‘weavable’ materials into her artistic hobbies list, and recently in retirement, has developed. |
