Jill McIntosh
Painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture and installation Jill McIntosh’s work investigates the space between ideas and processes. By training as a printmaker under Barry Cleavin she developed skills in drawing and translation. As an artist she reflects her journey by exploring the transferral, alteration and conversion of images. Born in Hamilton, New Zealand, she graduated from the University of Canterbury before setting up the Printworkshop at the Wellington Arts Centre. As an adult student Jill has been studying at Elam Art School and AUT Art and Design, and has her Diploma of Secondary Teaching in Art.
