A message to our members from Studio Printmakers
Do you know about Studio Printmakers based at the Lake House Arts Centre in Takapuna.
The Studio has developed as a communal place where printmakers gather to exchange ideas, work collaboratively, hold workshops, organise exhibitions and meet visiting local and international printmakers and tutors. And have access to a great space to work on their own work. There is also now a permanent exhibition space, within the arts centre, available to members to exhibit their work on a rostered basis.
New members are always welcome and there is currently a vacancy for three Key-Holder Members.
Members: Pay an annual subscription and can book to use the studio at any time at a reduced daily rate. Sole use cannot be guaranteed but there is not usually a problem.
Key-Holder Members: Pay a monthly fee which gives them 24/7 access, 365 days of the year.
As well as open access to the Studio at any time (apart from when the studio is being used for workshops or print related activities), kay-holders have the use of large drawer space to store their paper and shelf space to stack inks.
Casual Hire: Experienced printmakers, who are not members, including visiting national and international artists, may apply to hire the studio by prior arrangement with the committee.
