Latest round of Creative Communities funding.

APPLY NOW TO KAIPARA’S CREATIVE COMMUNITIES NEW ZEALAND SCHEME

The Creative Communities Scheme supports and encourages local communities to create and present diverse opportunities for accessing and participating in art activities.   Under the Scheme “the arts” are broadly defined as “all forms of creative and interpretative expression”

 

Criteria:

Projects must meet one or more of the following funding criteria:

Broad community involvement – The project will create opportunities for local communities to engage with and participate in arts activities

Diversity – The project will support the diverse arts and cultural traditions of local communities, enriching and promoting their uniqueness and cultural diversity

Young people – The project will enable and encourage young people (under 18 years) to engage with and actively participate in the arts.

The amount of funding available for the whole district is approximately $8,000

 

Applications, for events commencing after 1 October 2013, must be received no later than 5.00.p.m. on Friday 30 August 2013.      The meeting to consider these applications will be held in September 2013.
